Industrial Electronics Services Components

Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, intends to award a requirement on a Sole Source basis to Industrial Electronics Services (IES), 213 Suncrest St, Gray, TN 37615-3499 to procure Industrial Electronics Services PN 535885-002 Assembly Circuit Card 40 Each; Industrial Electronics Services PN 536574-001 Temp MNTR SW 40 Each; and Industrial Electronics Services PN 537109-001 Cable, Ribbon 40 Each. These component parts are manufactured by IES and not available for procurement from any other company. Additionally, these components have been specifically identified within the approved technical drawings for the equipment; therefore substitute parts are prohibited. This action is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) for single source. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No electronic or hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. Responses should be directed via Email to: contact@example.gov and due 4:00pm, Eastern, 29 APR 2020. This action is conducted under FAR Part 13. System Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all vendors doing business with the Department of Defense (DOD).
