The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL), in collaboration with TReX and the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Acquisition and Commonality office (SEA 06L), is organizing a three-day Industry Day and Feedback Sprint event from January 8th to 10th, 2019, at the University of Texas at Austin. This event aims to engage leading industry innovators to explore emerging technologies and refine the Navy’s Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) Prototype Project’s Statement of Needs. The MBPS Prototype Project is designed as a comprehensive enterprise solution to address logistics service requirements across various functional areas such as product data management, configuration management, technical data management, product support modeling and simulation, and acquisition requirements. Following the Industry Day, multiple industry-led working groups will participate in Feedback Sprints to analyze and discuss the MBPS Statement of Needs with the help of non-Government third-party facilitators. This collaborative opportunity supports the Navy’s Digital Transformation Initiatives under OPNAV N41, aiming to enhance operational support capabilities. Registration for the event opened on December 12, 2018, through the TReX website, which also hosts relevant project documents including the Statement of Needs and Draft Technical Supplement. The contract is managed by the Department of Defense office located in Orlando, FL, with Cathy Jordan as the Contract Specialist overseeing inquiries related to this engagement.

Industry Day & Feedback Sprint for the Model-based Product Support (MBPS) Prototype Project The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) in coordination with TReX and the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Acquisition and Commonality (SEA 06L), will host a 3-day Industry Day & Feedback Sprint scheduled for January 8th-10th, 2019 at the University of Texas at Austin, Commons Conference Center. This venue provides the opportunity where the Government Requiring Activity (SEA 06L) can work closely with leading industry innovators to identify the art of the possible with emerging technologies and to help refine the Statement of Needs for their Navy Model Based Product Support (MBPS) Prototype Project. The MBPS Prototype Project is an enterprise solution addressing the logistics services requirements of a broad spectrum of functional needs (e.g., product data management, configuration management, technical data management, product support modeling and simulation, acquisition requirements, etc.). Immediately following the Industry Day portion, Feedback Sprints will engage multiple Industry-led working groups to analyze and discuss the MBPS Statement of Needs, with non-Government, third-party facilitation. This is an exceptional opportunity for Industry experts to help shape a critical component of the Operational Navy (OPNAV) N41 Digital Transformation Initiatives to ensure our operational forces have the support they need to fight and win in all environments. The registration portal on the TReX website for the MBPS Industry Day & Feedback Sprint will be launched on 12 December 2018. The MBPS Statement of Needs and Draft Technical Supplement can be found on the TReX website "current opportunities" by clicking the hyperlinked text below. https://trainingaccelerator.org/2018/12/mbps-industry-day-feedback-sprint
