DLA Disposition Services, in cooperation with the Navy, will hold an Industry Day on June 25, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. located at the Navy Gateway Inn & Suites, 2720 Ohio St., Silverdale, WA 98315. DLA Disposition Services is responsible for the disposal of military surplus property. The industry day will include an open forum to answer questions and obtain feedback regarding how DLA Disposition Services can best offer scrap metals located on barges, identify strategies to minimize costs and obtain input for structuring sales that incentivize buyers and increase interest and participation in surplus scrap metal property located at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The industry day will include an overview the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard mission, outline of requirements and discussion on the perceived gaps that may hinder contract performance. This market research tool is being used to disseminate information and discuss opportunities. To register for the Industry Day on June 25, 2019 send an email with company name, address and names of attendees to Jennifer.ganka@dla.mil no later than June 19, 2019. This forum requires pre-registration and space is limited. Attendees are responsible for all expenses associated with attendance.
