Innovative Traffic Safety Enforcement (ITSE) Grant Program

The Innovative Traffic Safety Enforcement (ITSE) Grant Program, administered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) under solicitation NHTSA-693JJ926R000024-FY26, provides up to 20 million dollars in discretionary safety grants to develop and demonstrate innovative traffic safety enforcement programs. Recipients are subject to strict compliance requirements, including Buy America preferences, civil rights obligations under Title VI and the ADA, and security risk assessments per National Security Memorandum 22. Financial management follows 2 CFR Parts 200, 1200, and 1201, with monthly reimbursement invoicing and annual financial reporting via SF-425.
