Installation of an access ramp to the 1G courtyard This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Institution Archambault medium. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is looking for a general contractor for a project including the supply, labour, equipment and materials in order to perform the work as described in the specification. As the incarcerated population is aging, the CSC must adapt its facilities in order to offer safe solutions to residents using wheelchairs. CSC is therefore looking for a contractor specializing in fabricated metals. Objectives: The purpose of this project is to manufacture and install an access ramp for people with reduced mobility in the Archambault Medium establishment located on Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines complex. Deliverables: The project therefore consists, but is not limited to, of modifying fences, installing piles and adding a galvanized steel access ramp. The main issue is that this courtyard does not have any possible access for vehicles; it will be necessary to provide equipment that can be transported to the site from inside the building. There will be a mandatory site visit. Details about the site visit are contained in the bid solicitation document.
