Solicitation # A070977
The Department of Defense, specifically the 502 Cons Cl under the Office of the Air Force, is issuing a sources-sought Request for Information (RFI) for the DCF3 Projection System, solicitation number A070977. The objective is to identify capable providers for the installation of standalone audio-visual (AV) classroom equipment in sixteen classrooms at the BMT DCF3 (Building 9270) located at JBSA-Lackland, Texas. The scope of work includes providing all personnel, equipment, and materials to install laser projectors, zoom lenses, lecterns, scaling switchers, and associated cabling. The system must operate as a standalone solution and is strictly prohibited from interfacing with the Air Force network. Key deliverables include the integration of Apple Government-Furnished Equipment, the provision of technical documentation, and the delivery of user training for staff. Technical requirements specify that projectors and extension columns must be Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant, and touch panels must be FCC Class A certified. The contractor is responsible for ensuring high video resolution and sound quality, with final acceptance based on a post-installation walkthrough and inspection at the project site. Security requirements are stringent, requiring criminal history checks and background investigations for all personnel accessing the base, as well as strict adherence to Force Protection Condition procedures and a total prohibition of weapons on site. This RFI is strictly voluntary and is not a formal solicitation for quotes; interested parties must submit their capabilities and open-market pricing via email to Tommie Low by October 27, 2026, at 10 a.m. CST.
