Full Description

Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order to immix Technology, Inc., McLean, VA. The agency’s requirement is for the purchase of license renewal for EnCase Enterprise Software (SMS). The contractor will provide access for tech support, software updates/upgrades/patch fixes during the performance period. EnCase Forensic is a computer forensic software used by Computer Forensic Examiners (CFE) to analyze seized digital evidence. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
