The point of contact for this action is Rosalind McFadden, Contracting Specialist, e-mail contact@example.gov The U.S. Army Contracting Agency; Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely as prescribed in (FAR6.302-1) with FARO Technologies, Inc, 125 Technology Park, Lake Mary, FL,32746-6204. The contractor shall provide premium maintenance/warranty service for FARO Arms and Lasers that are owned by Aberdeen Test Center. Warranty shall include parts, labor and all shipping charges, Contractor to supply loaner Faro Arms shipped the next business day if one of the arms should happen to fail. North American Industry Classification System NAICS for this requirement is 811310 and the size standard is, 7.0 Million. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 1600 PM Eastern Standard Time, 5 December 2008; this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
