IAW Fitting, Inspection, Repair, and Disposal Laser Eye Protection (LEP) F-35 Lightning II Clydesdale SF2-C (Version 1.0) Dated 31 October 2018 purchases will be made directly to GENTEX Corp:


1.6 The Clydesdale SF2-C LEP spectacle is a one-time procurement for the U.S. Services and is a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). A new universal Part Numbers have been created by the Original Equipment Manufacturer for future procurement by the U.S. Services, Partners and FMS customers (see Table 15) Partners and FMS that desire the Clydesdale SF2-C LEP spectacles can procure them directly from the OEM email address provided in paragraph 8.1.


 8.1 Orders can be place by contacting ORDERS@gentexcorp.com.


It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement due to the pre-established ordering procedures listed above. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. Interested parties may identify their interests to this notice by showing clear and convincing evidence that they can provide all the needed assets, meet the security recquirements and competition would be advantageous to the Government.
