High-resolution, high-throughput spectrographThe Army Research Laboratory's Detonation Science and Modeling Branch is seeking to acquire one high-resolution, high-throughput spectrograph with specific advanced technical capabilities. The spectrograph must include an intensified camera with a continuous wavelength range from at least 180 to 1100 nanometers, enabling detection of specific carbon and oxygen spectral lines at 247 nm and 777 nm, respectively. Key technical requirements include a minimum resolving power of 4000 using an intensified charge-coupled device (ICCD) detector, a Gen II or equivalent ICCD detector with UV/VIS/NIR sensitivity, adjustable gate pulse delays, and a modular design for interchangeable gratings and detectors to improve resolving power up to 50,000. Additional features include specific optical characteristics such as large input collimator f-number, small detector focusing optics f-number, and spectrograph demagnification to balance throughput and resolution, as well as the capability to trigger via neodymium: yttrium aluminum garnet laser signals and solarization-resistant fiber optic cables. The solicitation permits all responsible sources to submit quotations, with no set-aside restrictions, under NAICS code 334516. The Government plans a competitive acquisition under FAR Part 12 for commercial products and expects to issue a formal Request for Quotation with an anticipated award date of July 31, 2026. Submissions in response to this presolicitation are due by 3:00 pm Eastern Time on July 1, 2026, and must be sent electronically. The equipment must also be compact and lightweight, weighing less than 40 pounds with dimensions under 20 inches in each direction, include all necessary software for calibration and control producing linearized wavelength spectra, and come with a minimum one-year warranty and coverage of shipping and insurance costs. The point of contact for this procurement is Joseph M. Dellinger at the Army Contracting Command, Adelphi Division.

NOI - Infors HT Multitron Incubation ShakerThe National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Office of Acquisitions, has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation under the number 75N98026Q00639 for the procurement of an Infors HT Multitron Incubation Shaker, including integrated CO2 control, hygienic humidification, accessories, and installation. This purchase intends to extend a 15-year-old existing Multitron system used in the Laboratory of Structural Cell Biology at NHLBI. The solicitation is conducted as a non-competitive, sole-source action with Infors USA, the exclusive U.S. manufacturer and seller of this patented system, to ensure compatibility and integration with the existing equipment. The acquisition falls under the streamlined procedures outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6 and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The solicitation is governed by Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01, effective March 13, 2026, with the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and it is not set aside for small businesses. Proposals are requested promptly, with a response deadline of June 23, 2026. This action is authorized under FAR 12.603 and 41 U.S.C. 1901, reflecting the necessity of a direct award due to the unique integration requirements and the lack of comparable commercial items. The point of contact for this solicitation is Nicholas S. Capobianco at the NIH.
