Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government's needs, to: Boston Scientific, Corp 100 Boston Scientific Way Marlborough, MA 01762 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334510; the business size standard is 1250 #of employees. The objective of this sole source award is to provide the following supplies: Two (2) LithoVue Systems (includes cart, power cord, and touch PC) Model # M0067811000 & M0067812000 Include 1 year Warranty Boston Scientific Corp's. Lithovue System is the only system that can be operated with the 270 degree ureteroscopes currently in use at Naval Medical Center San Diego and Boston Scientific Corp. is the only provider who can provide the supplies needed with the above stated characteristics. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the supplies validated by Boston Scientific Corp.
