The Defense Distribution Depot at Warner-Robins, GA requires continued on-site IT and telecommunications support services encompassing hardware, software, help desk, and technical assistance. These services involve support for a wide range of IT equipment including PCs, printers, portable computers, Teklogix RF equipment, LAN/WAN hardware and software, and various peripheral devices. The scope covers installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, integration, documentation, and user support for desktop and laptop computers, printers, network devices, RF controllers, and other related technology essential to the depot’s operations. Currently, these services are provided under contract SP3300-11-C-1006 with Diverse Technologies Corporation, set to expire on August 31, 2014. As the re-competition of these services (under Solicitation SP3300-13-R-0020) has not been finalized, DLA Distribution Acquisition Operations plans to extend the existing contract for an additional three months using a sole source modification in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. This extension is justified under the provision that no other supplier meets the agency’s requirements and will ensure no service disruption during the transition period. The contract activity is managed by the Department of Defense’s DLA Distribution office in New Cumberland, PA, with the NAICS code for this procurement classified under 541513, and a size standard of $27.5 million.
