ARPA-E intends to sole-source a Blanket Purchase Agreement and immediate Call Order to Currence for access to its Technology Commercialization and Market Intelligence Platform, a proprietary system providing AI-driven insights, real-time data, and expert analysis tailored to energy and emerging technology markets. The platform is deemed uniquely capable of meeting ARPA-E’s requirements for granular, API-integrated data with automated bulk export capabilities, a detailed multi-level technology taxonomy for precise competitor mapping, 24/7/365 availability, and downloadable CSV outputs compatible with DOE workflows. Additionally, Currence is the only provider offering bundled expert analyst support, including curated research libraries and direct access to sector specialists for validating internal assessments, a combination of features essential for tracking the commercialization progress of ARPA-E-funded technologies and informing strategic decision-making. This solicitation is not an invitation to bid but a notice allowing other potential providers to demonstrate their ability to meet the specified requirements by submitting a capability statement no later than 10:00 a.m. EDT on July 6, 2026, to Anthony Giannetti at anthony.giannetti@hq.doe.gov. Responses will be evaluated solely to determine whether a competitive procurement is warranted, with the government retaining full discretion to proceed on a sole-source basis if no other entity can demonstrate equivalent capability.
