Solicitation # F16CD_AN_APG_Radar_NSN1270012383662_PN_758R990G01
This sources-sought notice issued by the Department of the Air Force, FA8122 Afsc Pzaab, seeks qualified sources for the repair of the Dual Mode Transmitter (NSN 1270-01-238-3662, P/N 758R990G01) used in the F-16 C/D Model AN/APG-68 Radar. To become a qualified source, offerors must notify the government of their intent and certify they possess the necessary facilities, equipment, and personnel for repair, inspection, testing, packaging, and storage. Qualification requires verifying a complete data package, including manufacturer drawing 758R990G01, and demonstrating compliance with Unique Identification requirements and ESA-approved engineering data. Offerors are responsible for the costs of developing a qualification test plan, conducting performance and environmental evaluations, and providing a pre-contract award qualification article for form, fit, and function evaluation. The qualification process is estimated to cost approximately 10,000 dollars and take 1,465 days due to the complexity of the transmitter. While full qualification is generally required for contract eligibility, waivers may be granted to sources that have previously supplied the item to the government or OEM, or those qualified to provide similar assemblies or previous dash numbers of the same part. Technical data for the transmitter includes a comprehensive Repair Data List featuring schematic diagrams and test specifications for various subassemblies, such as the high voltage power supply and RF monitor. The solicitation was posted on June 2, 2026, with a response deadline of December 1, 2028.

Tri-Base Area Construction Basic Ordering Agreement
Solicitation # FA558724R0003
The Tri-Base Area Construction Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), solicitation FA558724R00070004, is a negotiated instrument between the United States Air Force and qualified contractors to provide a broad range of construction, renovation, alteration, and modernization services. The work is performed at RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath, and RAF Feltwell in the United Kingdom. This agreement functions as a foundational understanding that allows the government to issue individual task orders for specific projects, with order values ranging from a minimum of 2,000 USD to a maximum of 10,000,000 USD per order. All task orders are priced and paid in British Pound Sterling (GBP) on a firm-fixed-price basis. The current term of the agreement extends through April 27, 2029. To qualify for the BOA, contractors must pass mandatory gates, including active SAM registration and valid licensing under the UK Construction Industry Scheme (CIS). Qualified contractors are placed into pools based on past performance, specifically requiring the completion of at least three separate construction contracts valued over 250,000 GBP each on an RAF base. Future task orders are awarded competitively based on either the lowest priced offer or the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal. Contractors must adhere to strict technical and aesthetic base standards for each installation and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Program. Additionally, all local national employees must undergo Host Agency Check (HAC) vetting to obtain necessary installation access.
