THREE PHASE 23KV PADMOUNT TRANSFORMERS
Solicitation # BD-27-2082-PMLP-PMLP-134598
The Peabody Municipal Light Plant (PMLP) is soliciting bids for three-phase 23kV padmount transformers, specifically 60HZ, mineral oil immersed, class OA rated self-cooled, compartmental-type distribution transformers rated 3000KVA and smaller. The requirements include units with a primary voltage of 22,860 GRD Y / 13,200 volts and 125KV BIL insulation. Specific line items include 750 KVA, 1000 KVA, and 2000 KVA transformers with 480 Y / 277 secondary voltages and loop switches. All equipment must comply with the latest IEEE standard C57.12.34. The award process heavily weights transformer efficiency, requiring bidders to provide guaranteed maximum no-load and full-load losses, percent impedance, and detailed construction drawings. Bidders must provide firm pricing valid for 60 days, and those without upward escalator clauses are preferred. Deliveries must be made to the Peabody, Massachusetts jobsite between 08:00am and 03:00pm, with 72 hours' advance notice and packaging that allows for fork truck offloading from the rear. Payment is set at 100% of the quoted price within 30 days of delivery and inspection. Compliance requirements include adherence to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, PMLP safety rules, and Massachusetts tax laws under MGL c. 62C, §49A. Submissions must include a Certificate of Non-Collusion, tax compliance certification, and PCB certification prior to shipment.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Danfysik, Denmark under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting From a Single Source, to replace a faulty main power transformer in MPS 855, which includes the following: 408KVA water cooled transformer, 1050 cabinet, water hoses, water connections, flow switch, input and output terminals and interlock terminals. This item is required to be used by NIST to power a Single-tron radiation magnet. Based on Market Research NIST has not identified any other sources that can provide the required equipment. If NIST identifies no other capable sources by April 20, 2009, NIST will issue a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to Danfysik A/S. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement in writing no later than April 20, 2009. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

Building 215 Clean Room HEPA Filter Replacement
Solicitation # RFI-195000-26-00181
The National Institute of Standards and Technology is conducting market research through a Request for Information for the Building 215 Advanced Measurement Laboratory cleanroom repair and HEPA filter replacement project in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This initiative follows a previous solicitation that failed to produce an acceptable offer, prompting NIST to reassess its acquisition strategy and seek industry feedback on constructability, cost, and schedule feasibility. The project scope involves the modernization of an 1,800 square meter facility, including the replacement of approximately 1,200 HEPA filters, 70 VAV terminal units, and 54 airflow monitoring devices, as well as the installation of 32 exhaust air control valves and associated ductwork repairs, testing, and recertification. A critical component of the project is the proposed phasing plan, which aims to minimize research disruptions by utilizing 19 construction phases, including 18 critical cleanroom outage phases. Each critical outage is currently envisioned as a nine-day window starting Friday evening and requiring 24/7 operations to achieve ready-for-re-occupancy by the following Monday morning. NIST is specifically requesting rough-order-of-magnitude cost estimates and industry input on whether this aggressive outage schedule is realistic or if it creates prohibitive risks and costs. Responses, including company experience and recommendations for improving competition and project execution, are due by October 14, 2026.
