Cybersecurity Operations & ComplianceThe contract titled Cybersecurity Operations & Compliance is a subcontract under the National Institutes of Health, part of the Department of Health and Human Services, aimed at delivering continuous cybersecurity monitoring, real-time threat detection, rapid incident response, and policy compliance services for NIH IT systems. The work is performance-based and requires the contractor to maintain robust, 24/7 operational capabilities to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats across NIH infrastructure, ensuring alignment with federal security standards and regulatory requirements. The place of performance is designated as Bethesda, Maryland, with a zip code of 20892, indicating the primary location for service delivery, even though no specific office address or point of contact is provided. The contract is classified under NAICS code 541612, which corresponds to Computer Facilities Management Services, signaling that the focus is on managed cybersecurity operations rather than hardware or software procurement. As a subcontract, this effort supports a prime contractor or larger program, meaning the successful bidder will integrate their services into an existing cybersecurity framework. The contractor must be prepared to operate at a high tempo, maintain strict compliance, and respond effectively to evolving cyber threats impacting critical health research systems.
