The U.S. Marine Corps intends to award a sole-source contract to RADA Technologies, LLC for the procurement of non-commercial RPS-62 radar systems, associated software and firmware, licenses, spares, ancillary components, maintenance, repairs, and engineering services to support the Marine Air Defense Integrated System program. The RPS-62 radar is the only currently available system that meets the strict size, weight, power, and interface requirements of the JLTV platform and is fully compatible with the existing MADIS software baseline, making it the sole solution capable of fulfilling the Product Manager Future Weapon Systems’ operational needs. The acquisition will be conducted under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.103-1(c)(2)(iii), citing the absence of any other responsible source or suitable alternative. The contract is expected to be a hybrid Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee/Firm-Fixed-Price arrangement with a five-year performance period, and RADA, as the original designer and producer of the system, is the only entity capable of providing the required capabilities. No formal solicitation will be issued, and this action is not open to competitive bidding; however, interested parties may submit information regarding their capability to meet the requirements and past performance data by 1400 local time on June 11, 2026, to the designated government points of contact. Responses will be evaluated at the government’s discretion, but the decision to proceed with sole-source award without competition remains entirely at the government’s discretion. All submissions must reference the Notice ID and be sent electronically; telephone inquiries will not be accepted. The anticipated place of performance is Quantico, Virginia, and the North American Industry Classification System code is 334511. The government will not reimburse any costs incurred by respondents in preparing submissions.
