AI Contract Overview
The Program Manager for Ground Based Air Defense within the Marine Corps Portfolio Acquisition Executive Mission Systems plans to award a sole-source contract to RADA Technologies, LLC for the procurement of RPS-62 radar systems and associated software, licenses, spares, maintenance, repairs, and engineering services in support of the Marine Air Defense Integrated System program. The RPS-62 radar system is uniquely suited to meet the size, weight, power, and compatibility requirements of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle and the MADIS software baseline, making RADA the only known source able to fulfill these specific needs. The anticipated contract will be a hybrid Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee and Firm-Fixed-Price agreement with a five-year performance period. This sole-source acquisition is justified under the statutory authority that only one responsible source can meet the government’s requirements. There is no solicitation package available, and this notice does not request competitive quotes. While interested parties may express their interest and provide capability and past performance information by the specified deadline, the government reserves full discretion over whether to proceed without competition. The contract will be executed for performance in Quantico, Virginia, under NAICS code 334511, with all communications directed to designated Marine Corps contacts via email.
