Full Description

The intent of this contract is for the construction of landscaping projects at the Eastern Sierra Inter-Agency Visitor Center, Lone Pine California. Work will include a 5,200 square foot interpretive native plant garden, irrigation, two stone monuments, 1 flagpole, 18 foot long 12 inch tall stone veneer retaining seatwall, 12 foot long 12 inch tall stone veneer retaining seatwall and 5,600 square foot NaturalPave pathway system. It also includes a chain link fence and wooden fence with two gates, north of the existing restrooms and surrounding the service yard. Alkali meadow seeding is also in the contract. The project is located on the Inyo National Forest, Mt. Whitney Ranger District, off of Route 395, on the south side of Route 136, approximately 0.5 mile south of the Lone Pine airport and approximately 1.8 mile south of downtown Lone Pine.
