The Department of Defense, through the Naval Information Warfare Systems office, is hosting an Industry Day focused on Interference Excision Technologies (IET) with a Technical Readiness Level of 6 or higher. Scheduled for March 10-12, 2020, at SAIC in California, Maryland, this event is co-hosted by the Communications and GPS Navigation Program Office and the Multifunctional Information Development System Program Office. The purpose of the Industry Day is to gather information to support market research aimed at accelerating the exploration and practical application of IET in DoD C4I systems and platforms. Participants from industry, academia, and government research and development organizations are invited to present briefs or demonstrations of emerging technologies and engineering innovations. The insights gained during this event may lead to further engagement with selected organizations to better understand how these technologies can be integrated into or implemented across Department of Defense communications and command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence systems. The solicitation was posted in early January 2020, and the primary contact is Karen DeBolt. This event represents a critical opportunity for stakeholders in the interference excision field to engage directly with the Navy and contribute to advancing cutting-edge solutions that enhance military communication capabilities.
