The Fontana Unified School District ("District") is seeking qualified contractors to provide interior and exterior painting maintenance and waterproofing/weatherproofing maintenance services on an as-needed basis at various District sites throughout the term of the Contract. Work may include, but is not limited to, painting of permanent buildings, portable buildings, classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, exterior building surfaces, walls, doors and frames, trim, ceilings, canopies, handrails, fencing and gates, retaining and block walls, storage containers, trash enclosures, and other painted surfaces or structures as identified by the District. Waterproofing and weatherproofing work may include the application of approved protective coatings and systems to stucco walls, brick panels, exterior wall surfaces, and other areas requiring protection from water intrusion or preventive weatherproofing maintenance. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, contractor-furnished materials, equipment, tools, transportation, surface preparation, protection, application, cleanup, and incidentals necessary to complete the applicable Work in accordance with the District's specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, applicable codes and regulations, and individual project requirements. District-furnished materials, if applicable, will be identified in the Contract Documents or individual project authorization. The District anticipates utilizing this Contract for ongoing painting and waterproofing/weatherproofing maintenance at multiple District sites. Work will be issued on an as-needed basis. The District does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity of work for either award category under this Contract.
