Hillsborough County intends to award a sole source procurement to Sun State International Trucks, LLC for the maintenance, repair, and supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer parts for International-brand trucks. The contract is valued at an estimated 405,287.50 dollars for a one year period, with the county reserving the right to extend the duration or adjust the scope of services. Sun State International Trucks, LLC is identified as the only authorized dealer and certified service provider in the region with the necessary access to proprietary diagnostic platforms and factory trained technicians required to maintain warranty compliance and vehicle safety. This procurement follows the County Procurement Policy Section 3-205(2)(e) due to the vendor's unique qualifications. While this is not a request for competitive bids, interested contractors may challenge the sole source award by submitting evidence of their ability to provide the required proprietary parts and services. All challenges must be submitted via the EUNA Procurement system by August 31, 2026, after which the county will determine if a competitive solicitation is necessary.
