The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD) intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Sparton Aydin LLC (DBA: Aydin Displays), CAGE: 70MF8, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Aydin Displays is the OEM for this specific item, and holds the proprietary rights to the drawings and components of this specific item. Establishing an alternative source would result in not only duplication of costs to the Government, which is not expected to be recovered through competition, but would also require unacceptable delays in meeting current requirements. This procurement is for 40 each, BL9 Internet Protocol Camera Systems, P/N 359-7009-501, AN/SVD-2A(V)1, Includes: One IP Camera/Pedestal Assembly and One IP Camera Controller Enclosure (w/2nd Ethernet Port). This acquisition is being procured under NAICS Code 333316 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Inspection and Acceptance will be at destination (NSWC PHD). Contract award is expected on a FOB destination basis. This will be a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12.
