This project proposes a coordinated program of invasive species removal and fire fuel reduction across multiple county parklands to enhance ecosystem resilience and mitigate climate-driven impacts including extreme heat, prolonged drought, flooding, and catastrophic wildfire. Activities will restore native plant communities and
improve forest and meadow health, and reduce hazardous fuel loads across approximately 330 acres and 5 miles of trail corridors. The project is proposed for funding under a Proposition 4 grant application.
