California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), Office of Spill Prevention Response (OSPR) Laboratory Program (OLP) provides in-house testing services for basic water quality parameters in addition to limited nutrient analysis to support samples collected by CDFW personnel. Analytical testing services are provided to support research studies with partner State agencies, or to support enforcement actions where the goal is to protect the beneficial uses of State waters and to identify pollutants that may imperil wildlife. To provide continuous services to support CDFW activities, contingency capacity for analytical testing will be provided by the Contractor to support testing capabilities not provided by the OLP and to provide services when catastrophic instrument failure occurs at the OLP.
