Mecklenburg County Asset and Facility Management will receive single prime, lump sum, sealed bids for the Shuffletown Park improvements Project until 2:00 PM (EST), on Thursday, September 29, 2026, at which time bids will be opened at Valerie C. Woodard Center, 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 6000, Charlotte, NC. Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds are required. NC law and applicable regulations of various licensing boards will be observed. The scope of work includes demolition, grading, utilities, splashpad with pumphouse, basketball court, hardscape, planting, and other site improvements. Electronic plans and specifications can be obtained from Susan Hatchell Landscape Architecture at (910) 444-9209 and/or by email at mindy@susanhatchell.com from 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. Mecklenburg County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
