Invitation for Bids for On-Call Electrical Services

The Town of Raynham is soliciting sealed bids for on-call electrical services to provide routine and emergency maintenance across municipal buildings, schools, garages, and harbor and sewer pump stations. The contract involves the installation and maintenance of wiring, conduit, fixtures, and fire and security control panels. Award may be granted to up to three of the lowest, responsible, and eligible bidders. Eligible contractors must be licensed in Massachusetts, possess at least five years of experience in the electrical field, and provide three professional references. A critical requirement is the ability to respond to regular service calls within three hours and emergency calls within one hour. Bids must be submitted to the Town Administrator Office by November 5, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Required documentation includes a bid pricing form, non-collusion and tax compliance certifications, a certificate of corporate authority if applicable, and a labor harmony and OSHA training certification. Contractors must adhere to M.G.L. c.141 and prevailing wage rates, submitting certified weekly payroll records every three business days. The contract includes a 5% bid deposit and requires a payment bond for any individual task exceeding 25,000 dollars. The Town retains the option to renew the agreement for up to two additional one-year increments.
