INVITATION TO BID NO. 3124: AS NEEDED PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF AGGREGATE MATERIALS   The New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Commission for the Port of New Orleans (“NOPB”) is soliciting bids for the as-needed purchase and delivery of ballast and aggregate materials  (the “Materials”), as set forth more fully and in accordance with the General Conditions and Specifications (“Specifications”) and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the form agreement attached hereto (“Agreement”) for an initial term of one (1) year, with the NOPB having the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.   Official bid documents can be downloaded and must be submitted electronically through Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. The specifications of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) may also be obtained from the SEBconnect App, available on both the Apple and Google play platforms.     BID SUBMISSION: NOPB will accept sealed bids for this Project until 10:00 a.m. CDT on Thursday, August 27, 2026 (the “Bid Submission Deadline”). Any bid received after the Bid Submission Deadline will not be considered.   Bidders must submit bids electronically for this Project in the following way:   Submit an ELECTRONIC BID.  Bids must be submitted electronically at www.centralbidding.com For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. The bidder must attach a completed and signed digital copy of the Bid Form, Proof of Authority and any other documents required in the Bidding Documents. The NOPB shall not be responsible if a bidder cannot complete or submit an electronic bid. Bidders shall be responsible for receiving confirmation that the bid was successfully delivered prior to the Bid Submission Deadline.   BID OPENING: Immediately following the Bid Submission Deadline, bids will be opened in accordance with the bid documents.   NOPB CONTACT: Bidders must submit Questions in writing to procurement@railnola.com by Tuesday August 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. CST.
