CITY OF WOODLAND, GEORGIA INVITATION TO BID SIDEWALK DEMOLITION AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT The City of Woodland, Georgia, is accepting bids from qualified and properly licensed contractors for the demolition and replacement of sidewalks located within the public rights-of-way at the following locations: 1. State Route/Highway 36: Beginning at the intersection of Highway 36 and 6th Avenue and continuing to the intersection of Highway 36 and 8th Avenue. 2. Manchester Highway: Beginning at the intersection of Manchester Highway and West Main Street and continuing to the intersection of Manchester Highway and West Pleasant Hill Street. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: ¿ Obtaining all required permits and approvals, including any permits or approvals required by the Georgia Department of Transportation; ¿ Removal and demolition of the existing sidewalks; ¿ Hauling and lawful disposal of all demolition debris; ¿ Grading, compaction, and base preparation; ¿ Installation and finishing of new concrete sidewalks; ¿ Installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps; ¿ Restoration and cleanup of all disturbed areas; and ¿ Traffic and pedestrian control necessary to complete the work safely. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, Georgia Department of Transportation standards, and current Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility standards. Contractors must provide proof of all required licenses, general liability insurance, workers¿ compensation insurance, and any other documentation requested by the City. Each bidder is responsible for inspecting the project locations and verifying all measurements, quantities, site conditions, and permitting requirements before submitting a bid.
