INVITATION TO BID: - Veteran's Memorial Bridge Approach Restoration - Davidson Township - 2024-3

The Sullivan County Commissioners are accepting bids for the Structure Backfill Restoration of County Bridge #6 (Veterans Memorial Bridge), T-344 Veterans Memorial Road over Muncy Creek in Davidson Township, Sullivan County. Bids will be accepted through PennBid until 4:00 PM (prevailing time) on October 18, 2024. Bids will then be read aloud at the regularly scheduled public Commissioners meeting at 10:00 AM on October 22, 2024, at the Sullivan County Courthouse, 245 Muncy Street, Laporte, PA 18626. Bidders are encouraged to visit the project site prior to bidding. Each BID must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the BID. Bidders must submit with their initial bid, a statement as to whether they have previously performed work subject to the President's Executive Order No. 11246 (30 F.R. 12319-25) "Equal Opportunity Clause". The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, or to limit the scope of work involved. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and the Bidder. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation prequalification is not required for this contract; however, contractor should be able to provide proof of prior experience. Bidders are advised that PA prevailing wage rates apply to contracts in excess of $100,000.
