This project consists of brushing and reconditioning a total of 14.11 miles of road. Ripping, grid rolling, clearing, and grubbing a total of 2.85 miles of road. Excavation and back fill of a bridge approach to fix a washed out area as well as hauling rip rap from a local government pit to stabilize fills. The project can be accessed from Bonners Ferry by taking Hwy 95 North for approx. 14.8 miles and left onto Hwy 1 North approx. 2.2 miles to Copeland. Turn left and take Copeland road approx 1.7 miles turn right onto West Side road for approx. 10. 9 miles. Turn Left on road FSR 281 Smith Creek, veer left at Y intersect and continue approx. 7 miles Turn right on road 282 and continue appox. 0.75 miles and turn left onto road 2454 follow Road 2454 approx. 4.5 miles to Road 1009 and the beginning of the project. Price range between $100,000 and $250,000. Start date Sept 2016 and complete by November 15, 2016. Solicitation to be issued on or around October 13, 2015.
