Issuance of General Lease – Recreational and Protective Structure Use

The California State Lands Commission is authorizing the issuance of a General Lease for Recreational and Protective Structure Use, identified as File Reference A5172 Item 41. The lease is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2026, for a term of 10 years. This agreement covers the use of filled and unfilled sovereign land located in the Napa River, adjacent to 1776 Milton Road in Napa, California. The scope of the lease includes the use of an existing dock, appurtenant facilities, unattached piling, a retaining wall with rip rap, and a levee area. Under the California Environmental Quality Act, the project has been granted a categorical exemption under Class 1 for Existing Facilities, as no significant environmental impact is expected from the issuance of the lease.
