Full Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to negotiate solely with AQUAS located at 4833 Rugby Avenue, STE 501, Bethesda, Maryland 20814 to provide a COTS software package iSTAR. iSTAR (Integrated Sterile Time and Activity Reporting System) is a COTS software package. The product is a web-based application that provides fee billing processing and billing reporting as well as other modules related to time and attendance activity. iSTAR was proposed as the technical solution under a FSIS' Solicitation. This COTS product is owned and licensed by AQUAS Inc. iSTAR will be tailored/customized to meet the requirements for Fee Bill. The period of performance will be for a 12 month period plus a warranty in force for 12 months following delivery. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Request for copies of this solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond by the closing of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm's capability to provide the proprietary maintenance services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to announcement #645616. If no viable responses have been received in response after September 24, 2013 by 2:00pm EST to this announcement, USDA/FSIS shall negotiate solely with AQUAS.
