The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is seeking qualified bidders under the Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Supply Arrangement for two specific IT security positions: an IT Security Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) and Certification & Accreditation (C&A) Analyst Level 2, and an Information Technology Security Installation Specialist Level 2. This contract is open exclusively to Tier 1 TBIPS SA holders in the National Capital Region, with an estimated commitment of 220 days per year per resource over a two-year period. Bidders may submit proposals for one or both resource categories, and the work currently has no existing contracted resource. The contract requires adherence to security clearances, including Designated Organization Screening (DOS) for corporate security and reliability status for resources. Bids must be submitted exclusively via email to a designated procurement address with strict file size limits (maximum of 35 MB), and submission through other channels such as SAP Ariba or email links is not accepted. If the email exceeds the size limit, the bid should be split into multiple labeled emails. The Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be sent directly to qualified SA holders invited to participate, and all communications must be directed to the Contracting Authority, Stephanie Lamoureux. CIHR emphasizes that CanadaBuys is not responsible for distributing solicitation documents, and the Crown reserves the right to negotiate with any supplier. The opportunity was posted on January 16, 2026, with a response deadline of January 30, 2026, and the work is to be performed in the National Capital Region.
