ITB 26-VSW-KCC-040 Coffman Cove Water Treatment Plant Electrical Improvements

The State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Village Safe Water Program, is soliciting bids for solicitation 26-VSW-KCC-040 to perform electrical improvements at the water treatment plant in Coffman Cove, Alaska. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the project in accordance with the 2023 Final Technical Specifications and IFC Drawings. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. To be considered responsive, bidders must provide a bid guaranty equal to 5% of the total bid amount and submit a completed Bid Proposal, Bid Schedule, and Bid Security. The successful bidder must execute the contract and provide both performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, within fifteen calendar days of notification. Payments will be made on a monthly basis via an Application for Payment submitted to the Contracting Officer, Evan Patterson. The contractor must comply with various federal and state regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, Executive Order 11246 regarding equal employment opportunity, and specific labor provisions under AS 36:05:010. Additionally, any subcontracting requires prior written approval from the Contracting Officer and the submission of required EEO and insurance documentation. Preference may be given to certified Minority Business Enterprises or Women's Business Enterprises that are at least 51% owned and controlled by the qualifying group.
