ITB# RS-26-52 Bamford Park North Parking Lot Expansion - Phase 1

The Town of Davie has issued Invitation to Bid ITB# RS-26-52 for the Phase 1 expansion of the north parking lot at Bamford Park, located at 3801 S Pine Island Road. With an estimated budget of 960,000 dollars, the project requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to demolish two of the four existing basketball courts to create additional parking spaces. The scope of work includes full depth excavation, driveway and parking lot reconstruction, sidewalk installation, sod restoration, and the installation of two catch basins with exfiltration trenches. Additionally, the project involves electrical work for new light pole foundations and services, as well as landscaping requirements such as root pruning and tree protection. Bids are due by 2:00 pm on October 1, 2026, and must be submitted electronically via the Town's e-procurement portal. The contract is awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with local preference credits available for Davie and Broward County vendors. Awardees must provide a bid bond, performance and payment bonds, and evidence of insurance. All work must comply with the 2023 Florida Building Code, Town of Davie and Broward County ordinances, and FDOT design standards. The contractor is responsible for employing an independent testing laboratory and ensuring all sidewalks meet ADA compliance. The project is expected to be completed in late 2024, with the expansion available for use by mid-next year.
