No exceptions to this will be permitted.All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.Brief Description of WorkThe work includes interior and exterior renovations and as further set out at Appendices:Appendix E – Specifications and DrawingsThe North Shore Inn currently has a modular unit which resides tenants who will be moved into the hotel after this renovation. Exterior façade upgrades will include removing balcony access and reducing the sliding doors into smaller windows. Rooms will be given basic upgrades and include adding a kitchenette to create self contained units. A commercial kitchen will be added along with staff spaces on the main floor. This work will have mechanical, electrical and fire safety upgrades included in the specifications and details in Appendix E. Exclusion of United States Based SuppliersSuppliers based in the United States are excluded from responding to this ITT. BC Housing reserves the right, at its discretion, to allow United States based suppliers to respond, in the event no reasonable alternatives are available.The successful Bidder must cascade this requirement to subcontractors and suppliers engaged in the performance of the resulting contract. The successful Bidder shall be responsible for verifying and demonstrating compliance with this requirement and shall provide evidence of such compliance upon request by BC Housing.This is a public solicitation issued through BC Bid.
