BREAKWATER 301 RECONSTRUCTION – CARAQUET NB The general work requirements for this project includes but is not limited to: 1. Assist in the removal of the navigational aid steel tower, demolition of the concrete base, construction of a new base onto the rockfill also to be constructed, and installation of the recovered tower onto the new base. 2. Demolition and removal of the creosoted timber cribwork to an approved disposal site. 3. Excavation and sorting to approved grade of rockfill as shown on the drawings; stone material successfully recovered can be incorporation to the new breakwater. 4. Grade demolition and proposed rock fill area to a solid level grade for rockfill placement and to the Department Representative satisfaction 5. Construct a new breakwater and consolidation of the East breakwater using sized rock and thickness described on drawings. 6. Grade and clean site to the Department Representative satisfaction. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 18 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
