Potential suppliers not currently approved must submit detailed information per NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures, which outline the necessary technical data based on prior production experience or if the item has never been produced by the bidder. Submission of incomplete data or lack of source approval documentation will result in disqualification from consideration. The government reserves discretion on whether to proceed with a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice, but may proceed with the existing approved source to meet critical operational timelines and fleet support needs. The procurement is managed by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and interested parties can refer to specific guidance brochures and commercial item identification for additional information related to source approval and proposal submission requirements.
