INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Cooper-Atkins Corporation for the purchase of an I-Care Silver Support Maintenance Service agreement for the Temp Trak systems located at the VA Medical Centers in VISN 6. The Temp Trak system is a centralized monitoring system which monitors critical equipment and environmental data throughout each medical center. Cooper-Atkins Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Temp Trak system. NAICS code 334519 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for a base + 3 option year maintenance service agreement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested persons may identify their interest in this requirement no later than 10:00 AM EST, February 25, 2015 to: contact@example.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
