J -- Provide preventative maintenance, repair, inspection and testing of boilers at Naval Station Newport, RI

This contract seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance, repair, inspection, and testing services for a range of boilers and related systems at Naval Station Newport and associated facilities. The scope includes work on four 150 PSIG boilers at the main distribution plant, three 125 PSIG boilers at the Naval Ambulatory Care Clinic, and two 125 PSIG boilers at the Fire Fighter Trainer building. Additionally, the contractor will handle environmental testing and analysis, air emissions monitoring systems, boiler control and burner management systems, distributed control systems, ancillary system regulators, plant pressure masters, and a fiber optic boiler communication network, including its computer software and hardware components. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside under the SBA and will be awarded through a performance-based, source selection plan emphasizing low-price technically acceptable bids. Prospective bidders must be registered in the Contractor’s Central Data Base and possess a Dun & Bradstreet number and CAGE code.
