Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to solicit on a sole source basis, a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to Marotta Controls Incorporated, Marine & Land Systems. This procurement is for the upgrade/refurbishment of a quantity of (250) three way air valves, part number(s) MV583HS 283455 (-0001 thru -0003) to new configuration three way air valves, part number MV583HS 283455-0004. The upgrades will be accomplished 9 at a time until 250 upgrade/repairs have been completed. This is a five year period contract. See numbered note 22. Only written requests will be considered. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive! proposals. However, all responses received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this propsoed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information provided.
