The USPFO for Arizona anticipates awarding a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to FLIR SYSTEMS, INC to provide equipment upgrades and maintenance service to existing FLIR equipment. This procurement will also include replacement parts needed for repair of existing equipment where compatibility with equipment from the original manufacturer is required. This requirement also contains technical services associated with the assembly, installation and servicing of equipment of a highly technical or specialized nature. This is a follow-on acquisition for the continued use of specialized equipment and services. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333314, size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of the publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement on a brand name or equal basis including submitting specifications for an equal product.
