J--UPGRADE TRAINING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR BATTLE STATIONS-21 SIMULATOR

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Sole Source Firm Fixed-Price contract with Kongsberg Globalsim, Inc. for system upgrades to the Training Management System (TMS) for the Battle Stations 21 simulator located at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL 60088. The TMS upgrades will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.3 – Other Than Full and Open Competition, Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13.5 – Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 541511. A request for a complete proposal package will be available for download on or about 10 August 2015 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, or www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations.
