The system is designed to support disaster logistics operations, including warehouse and transportation operations, inventory management, in-transit visibility, point-of-distribution support, and financial reconciliation. The scope encompasses recurring SaaS licensing, cybersecurity and system authorization support, and optional surge capacity to handle disaster-response requirements. Technical requirements include FedRAMP High certification, compliance with DHS Enterprise Architecture, and adherence to Section 508 accessibility standards. The anticipated period of performance consists of one 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. While most work will be performed at the contractor's site, some activities may occur at FEMA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., or facilities in Virginia. This RFI is for planning purposes and is not a formal solicitation; however, interested parties must submit a narrative response, a Vendor Streamlined Profile Matrix, and a Targeted Market Research Questionnaire by January 4, 2027. The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is seeking to acquire additional SSD capacity for their NetApp AFF A300 storage array located at the Glen Burnie data center. This upgrade is essential to support the deployment of new applications that require SSD performance, as without the additional drives, SHA will be unable to accommodate these applications on the existing A300 system. Consequently, all new applications would need to be hosted on FAS systems, which could negatively impact overall application performance. The solicitation, titled J02P4600060, was posted on June 10, 2024, with a response deadline of June 21, 2024. The contract size is estimated to range between $50,000 and $150,000, and the project falls under the NAICS code 518210, indicating a focus on data processing and hosting services. The primary point of contact for this procurement is Corteze Haley-Grimes, reachable via email at [email hidden].

Full Description

SHA is requesting additional SSD capacity storage for the NetApp AFF A300 array at the Glen Burnie data center to support additional applications requesting SSD performance. If the additional drives are not acquired, SHA wouldn’t be able to add any additional applications that require SSD performance to the A300. All new applications will have to go on the FAS systems; this would impact application performance.
