This solicitation is a performance-based procurement utilizing commercial item acquisition procedures for the purpose of providing janitorial and mechancial maintenance services at the following three locations Highgate Springs Border Station, Alburg Springs Border Station and the Swanton Border Patrol Sector Headquarters, Vermont. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 561720 and the size standard is $15Million. Services provided to include equipment and systems to be operated, maintained and/or repaired as well as janitorial services to be performed under this contract. To include all building mechanical, electrical and utility apparatus installed at the site as well as all janitorial services identified in the solicitation including the requirements for cleaning of indoor firing range, snow plowing and removal, grounds maintenance etc. This procurement will be a twelve month contract with four (4) one year options. Issue date will be on or about 07/09/2008. A pre-proposal conference will be held on or about 07/22/2008. Proposal due date will be on or about 08/05/2008. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business qualified companies that are knowledgable of performing work under NAICS Code 238290 and 561720. The solicitation will be available to download via this website only (www.fedbizopps.gov). It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the RFP and any associated documents i.e. amendments, notices.
