Notice of Intent to Sole Source for Television Operations Center Maintenance Agreement The National Institutes of Health intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order to HA Design Group, LLC located at 6700 Springfield Drive, Suite J, Springfield, VA 22150. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, the Contractor is the only known responsible source who can provide the required services as no other source has been identified who can provide the requirement listed below. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the NIH anticipates issuing an award for the purchase of a maintenance service agreement to maintain equipment end items and associated firmware/software of the system to ensure 100% reliability of the system integrity and functionality for all projects associated with the Television Operations Center (TOC) clients from the NIH, HHS and world-wide. The Period of Performance is for twelve (12) months. The purpose of this acquisition is to ensure continuity of services and 100% operational functionality. It is critically vital that there is maintenance, technical support, and warranty coverage for the existing hardware and software to continue to support the NIH & HHS community. HA Design Group, LLC. coordinates and maintains warranty coverage agreements with all manufacturers of the system equipment. To avoid any warranty infractions and maintain system integrity, certified HA Design technicians are required for the support services. HA Design Group, LLC is the original system designer, integrator, and sole provider of maintenance service for the past years. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it can meet the requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The agreement shall include maintenance, technical support, and warranty coverage of the system components listed on Attachment 1 of this notice. It is anticipated that an award will be issued approximately seven (7) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that another organization has the capability to meet this requirement.
