Service to Include: • Removal of motor from customers location (RDU Airport Fuel Facility 2800 John Brantley Blvd, Morrisville, NC 27560) • Replace bearings and perform PM as noted below • Re-UL Certification • Deliver motor to customers location • Reinstall and align motor
PM to include: • Perform incoming tests and inspections, if applicable, as follows: • Nameplate checks against the purchase order • Measure and record insulation resistance • Measure and record axial endplay • Measure and record total indicated run out of the shaft extension • Measure and record coupling location • Measure and record air gap (if accessible) • Perform an overall visual inspection to identify missing broke or loose components • Disassemble the motor • Clean and inspect all components • Visually inspect coils, leads, connections and other winding components for degradation (overheating, looseness, fretting, etc.) • Perform mechanical inspections of rotor as follows: • Measure and record shaft run outs on all journals and on the rotor body • Inspect all welds and bolts for signs of cracking or looseness • Perform dimensional fit inspections on all critical components (bearing journals/thrust hub to shaft fit/coupling fit) • Measure and record all critical bearing and bearing housing dimensions • Inspect and test all accessory components as applicable • Perform incoming electrical testing as follows: • Insulation resistance • Winding resistance • Surge testing • Provide an as-found report with all discrepant conditions with recommendations for replacement and repair • Dynamically balance rotor • Machine Work – If needed will be quoted additional upon inspection and evaluation • Re-assemble the motor • Install new DE bearing [ TBD ] and new ODE bearing [ TBD ] • Perform final electrical test and mechanical inspections as follows: • Measure and record insulation resistance in accordance with IEEE 43 • Measure and record winding resistance • Measure and record polarization index (PI) in accordance with IEEE 43 • Measure and record axial endplay • Measure and record total indicated run out of the shaft extension, as accessible • Measure and record air gap (if accessible) • Perform no-load test run of the motor at full voltage monitoring: • Voltage • Bearing temperatures • Current • Casing vibration • Paint the motor in accordance with customer requirements
