Bids will be received until 8:45 a.m. on the above date, at the Office of the Unified Government Clerk, Municipal Office Building, 701 North Seventh Street, Kansas City, Kansas, 66101. At 9:00 a.m., in the Commission Chambers, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Beginning on Monday, August 24th, the City Hall HVAC Project will move to the lobby floor where the Commission Chambers are located. Work will begin on the north side and will not affect the operations of the entrances/exits or elevators on that floor.

Later in the week, however, work will be extended that will force the closure of both the front (west) entrance and back (east) exit. The lobby security area will be reconfigured so that the current front exit door will be used as both the entrance and exit to the building. Signage will be in placed on the outer patio to assist the public during this time.
Bidders may experience delays in entering the building and should plan accordingly to ensure that bid packages are received in the Clerk’s Office on the 3rd Floor by the 8:45 a.m. deadline on August 26, 2026.

Elevator operations should not be affected during this time.
