This contract notification pertains to a Sources Sought announcement for the Joint Threat Emitter Increment 2 (JI2) program at Hill Air Force Base. It is not a new requirement but a continuation of a series of previous sources sought notices. The primary purpose is to inform potential industry participants about an upcoming Pre-Acquisition Industry Day session where the government will outline the program’s acquisition strategy, technical needs, and contractual arrangements. Firms interested in participating will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with government representatives following the general briefing to discuss draft documents such as the Statement of Objectives, System Performance Specifications, and Contract Data Requirements Lists. These individual meetings are limited to one hour, with a maximum of three personnel per firm allowed. The Industry Day session is scheduled to take place at the Hill Aerospace Museum, with precise instructions on parking and check-in protocols. Attendees are expected to dress in business casual and respect the time limitations for meetings, which should focus on technical development capabilities rather than marketing. Interested contractors must notify the designated point of contact by April 20, 2009, to secure a meeting slot. Directions from Salt Lake City Airport to the venue are provided, emphasizing not to enter the Hill AFB gate. The overall objective of this engagement is to gather industry input and ensure alignment on program requirements ahead of formal acquisition actions.
