THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The Alpena CRTC Contracting Division has a sole source requirement for JOINT RANGE EXTENSION (JRE) HELP DESK SUBSCRIPTION which provides 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year telephone access to JRE subject matter experts for real-time technical assistance on all issues related to the operation and maintenance of JRE software and hardware. The period of performance is 18 Sep 18 through 17 Sep 19, and four one-year options may be awarded. This is a Sole Source with Engility Advanced Technologies Department (Engility-ATD) IAW FAR 13.106-1(b). Engility-ATD is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement due to being the original software designer and manufacturer of the system. The JRE utilizes Engility-ATD proprietary software as well as technical/intellectual design and fabrication drawings for which Engility-ATD reserves rights. The attached Absence of Competition Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exist at this time.
